Use yellow woolen aasan . No direction has been specified.However you can face north which is the direction of Himalayas and Siddhashram
thank you for your valuable information, i have a doubt please clarify it is it essential to see कुला कुल चक्र , अ क ड म चक्र and अ क था ह चक्र for this sadhana or it comes under exclusion list given by gurudev in mantra rahasya page no 180
These chakras basically check the matching between sadhak and the devata.This mantra is from the magazine and gurudev has not asked to check the kulakul chakra before starting this sadhana. So you can do this directly.
