ALCHEMY IN MODERN INDIA

A scholar from Gujarat, A.P Patel carried out a process on mercury for two days and converted it into gold.There appeared an article on him in the renowned magazine "Dhanvantri" in 1973 in its "Pranij Visheshank" (a special issue).At that time a huge crowd had gathered to witness this event in Ahmedabad.

A famous Vaidya, Ramji Bhai also became reputed in those days in Ahmedabad itself. He demonstrated the preparation of gold from mercury several times during his life time.On being asked he once told that he knew six processes of preparing gold from mercury.


In 1945,Siddhnath became quite famous in the field of Paarad Vigyan.He also wrote a small book named "Raseshwari Sadhana' which is quite important.

In the year 1945, a scholar from Maharashtra became famous throughout India.He had rare knowledge about Paarad Vigyan and he knew 18 Samskaars of Paarad.He had prepared gold from mercury several times during his life time.

In 1946 Hari Baba became reputed through out India.He was a Siddh of Paarad and lived in Haridwar.He carried out a special process when he took a half a kilo piece of copper and converted it into gold.Almost all newspapers of that time published this extraordinary occurrence and the English Governor invited him in order to felicitate him.

In April 1975 before the then state minister of Gujarat,Premji Thakur demonstrated the preparation of gold from mercury and proved that Paarad Vigyan is still prevalent in its totality and that gold can be prepared through it.

In 1978,Rajal, a Yogini from Himachal was in great prominence.She demonstrated the process of transforming mercury into gold in only half and hour before the then minister of forests.

In December 1982 Gopalji of Varanasi gave a solid form to mercury and then converted the same to gold in the presence of several journalists.This was published in January 1983 issue of Hindi weekly magazine Saptahik Hindustan.

Even today there are competent and famous Paarad scholars in India .
