Prana in our body which enters through breath is divided as five types
Pran - Heart - breathing in and out
Apaan - guda - nissaran (discharge )
Samaan - nabhi - food digestion and blood
Udaan - throat - food swallowing
Vyaan - full body - making organs active
Now there are five Upa pranas for these five respectively
They are
Naag (pran) - burp,cough
Koorma (apaan) - opening and closing eye lids
Krikara (samaan) - sneezing ,hunger and thirst
Devdutt (udaan) - yawning
Dhananjay ( vyaan) - dissolution of body after death
