BHAGWAN RUDRA

Once war happened between gods and demons, demons won over gods .Gods had to leave their place,Amaravati puri.They requested their father maharshi Kashyap to protect them.Shiv bhakt Kashyap did sadhana of lord shiva ,installing shiv ling on river side.After long tapasya,Shiva came pratyaksh before kashyap and he got boon from shiva that He himself will take birth as son of Kashyap and protect the devas.

Gods became extremely happy when Shiva took birth in Surabhi's womb (wife of kashyap) as eka dash (eleven) rudras.These rudras were very powerful and brave.Rudras defeated demons in war and gods regained their kingdom and positions and lived life fearless.

As per Shiv puran ,the names of eleven rudras are

Kapaali                      Pingal                       bheem
Virupaaksh               Vilohith                     shaastha
Ajpaad                      Ahir budhanya         shambu
chand                        bhav

Lord Shiva's eleven rudras protects all the creation in nature even today.The ten Indriyaas and mind together constitute the eleven rudras in a human being. Crores of rudras as their anuchaaris are present in the three worlds.Bhagwan rudra's rudraaksh is extremely pleasing for all gods.

SAPTA MATRIKA POOJAN SADHANA

Shashti devi is the adhishtatri for children,also called Vishnumaaya and baalada. She is famous among matrikas as devasena.She is the wife of swami kathikeya. She is worshipped in the form of Sapt matrikas,seven mothers - 

• Maaheshwari -She is five faced and travels on vrishabh.She has trishool in her hand

• Vaishnavi - She sits over garud.She has chakra,gada and padam in her hands

• Brahmaani - She is four faced and sits over hansa.She has kamandali and akshamaala in her hands

• Aindri - She is shakti of Indra and travels on airavat.She has vajra in her hand

• Kaumaari - She is six faced and sits over peacock

• Naarasimhi - She has face of lioness and has gadha and khadga in her hands

• Vaarahi - Her face is that of varaaha and she sits over white buffalo.She has chakra,khadga,talvaar and daal in her hands

Demons Shumbh and Nishumbh were killed by Sapta matrikas.Shumb's son durgam took form of a crow and escaped ,because sapt matrikas felt affection towards the son of their enemy. Maha saraswati who became happy by this deed blessed them that whoever worships sapt matrika at home after their child's birth ,that child they would protect.

Sadhana procedure :

This is a one day sadhana to be done at night. Sadhak should perform sadhana on shashti of shukla paksh ,any shubh muhurth or any thursday after bath sitting on white aasan wearing white clothes,at night, facing North. Spread white cloth on a wooden plank and keep sapt matrika yantra (tabeez) and do panchopachaar poojan and then chant the following mantra and offer rice mixed with red kumkum.

Then chant mantra 21 mala using saubhagya dayini mala

OM AYEIM KLEEM SAU SAPT MAATRIKA SAU KLEEM AYEIM OM PHAT

|| ॐ ऐं क्लीं सौ: सप्तमातृका: सौ: क्लीं ऐं ॐ फट् || 

Next day do visarjan of sadhana samigri in pond,well or river.Then give food,clothes,dakshina to 1,3,5 or 7 little girls as per your capacity. Adverse effects of planets on your child gets removed by this sadhana.Bad days gets over and good days arrive.This sadhana never fails when done properly and your child gets protection from bad griha dasha.

KAAMAKHYA DEVI

Our Puranas have story of Lord Shiva turning Kamadev's body into ashes from the fire of his third eye.Afterwards, according to request from Rati and Kaamdev to Mahadev, He ordered them to do worship of Kaamakhya devi at kaamroop pradesh.And this place,where kaamdev got back his body is kamaroop.

Kaamakhya peeth in Nilanchal hills in assam is the Shakti peeth of devi .Sati devi's yoni (shrishti srijak ang) fell at this place and here devi is worshipped to fulfill all desires. Kaam (kriya) + Aksh (eyes) which means kriya siddhi and sammohan siddhi is 

obtained from her.Grihasth,yogi,yeti,sanyaasi,woman,man,kaulaachari,vaamachari,dakshinmaargi,vaammargi, everybody does Kaamakhya sadhana.

Gupt tantra mentions Kaamakhya is sarva vidhya svaroopini,sarva siddhi pradaatri shakti and one who neglects kaamakhya cannot enjoy his life.Kaul kalpa taru says that even gods,demons,gandharva,kinnar,apsaras all are attracted by kaamakhya sadhana.Stambhan,mohan,draavan,traasan,vidveshan,uchaatan and complete vashikaran are possible by this sadhana.Stambhan of Agni,Soorya,Vaayu and Jal can be done by sadhak of kaamakhya.

One who removes ras tatva in life and only aims at moksha bhaav cannot get siddhi in life.Sadhana for living life fully is kaamakhya sadhana.Kaamakhya tantra gives completeness in life.

Kaamakhya sadhana gives siddhi of three devis - Tripura sundari, Matangi and Kamala ,since Kaamakhya devi is the combined form of these three Mahavidyas.House holder wishes to get siddhi of Matangi and Kamala, while Sanyaasi wishes for Kundalini jaagran siddhi by doing Tripur sundari sadhana. Kaamakhya is one and only one devi,whose sadhana is performed by sadhu-sanyaasi,grihasth,young men and women,all alike.

CHAATUR MAAS FOR SANYAASI

In Hindu dharma, Sanyaasi should not stay for long at one place. Sanyaasi is a wandering monk and he or she should distribute knowledge among people in the society. Politicians should remain in touch with people,similarly Sanyaasi should be connected with people in society for giving them wisdom.

Thus, Sanyaasi finds difficult concentrating on his own sadhanas,since he roams around everywhere. So shastras say that sanyaasis and gurus should do sadhana during Chaatur-maas time in a year,by settling down at one place. Chatur-maas is rainy time and they should settle at one place and perform sadhanas. Lord Vishnu enters sleep during this period and Devi sadhanas like dhumavati sadhana are fast acting during chaatur-maas.

Basic siddhantha in sanyaas ashram is ahimsa. Not causing physical,mental and ideological himsa to others is ahimsa.Even during times of Mahavir and Buddha ,sanyaasi took food as bhiksha from houses.Sanyaas life aims at ending false pride in human being.Sanyaasi should not unnecessarily pluck flowers,fruit or destroy trees. Infact for sadhus,fire is also varjit or avoidable.Initially chaatur maas was four months as its name indicates,but later it was converted into two months,where sanyaasis do sadhana. 

Sanyaasi ,instead of depending on fate,gives importance to Karma siddhantha of Gita.Hence he distributes the knowledge he earns from his guru to all the needy in the society.He keeps dand in his hands since he protects vedas.This reminds him constantly that his duty is to protect the Vedas.Sanyaasis does constant mantra chanting,pooja,dhyaan during chatur maas and in Kaarthik month they again start roaming in the world.Gurudev Shrimaliji has stressed on manasik sanyaas even while remaining in this world as grihastha.

Grihasth person can also understand basic siddhanth of chaatur-maas and do sadhana aradhana during this period.Ahimsa means making oneself strong and not causing problems to others.

SANYAAS

The first sanyaasi purush of this world is Bhagwan Shiva.Sanyaas means siddhi in sankalp without any vikalp.Shiv wishes sarva-kalyaan to all in the world and he is firm on this idea.Hence he is the greatest sanyaasi and the complete man.One can live in this world with family and still remain a sanyaasi.

People loses sankalp shakti so, there is vikalp.Hence they are unable to achieve siddhi. Sanyaasi will not get upset under adverse conditions.His aim is clear and he steers towards it using sadhana with strong will power.Man,
woman,child anyone can become a sanyaasi even while leading life in this society if they have strong sankalp shakti .

And there is a third category who are beyond 
sankalp - vikalp.They are called Sant in Gita.

Poojya gurudev has always stressed on grihasth sanyaas,where sadhak lives as a family house holder with love in mind.Sanyaas siddhi divas is a celebration day for achieving this drid-sankalp.

A Sanyaasi has Sanyaas sidhidaa panch ratna to get full success in life.They are

• Siddh kankan for wearing on finger
• Siddh jal khada for wearing on wrist
• Siddh Vajra dand for wearing around neck
• Vishwabhedi sudhand ring for complete vashikaran
• Samudra siddh kaayakalp kankan for kayakalp

They were used by Guru Gorakhnath and many sanyaasis in their life.By just wearing above five rare things,a Sanyaasi gets sammaan,yash,prasidhi,poornatha in life.

TARA DEVI IN BUDDHISM AND HINDUISM

Tara devi is the second mahavidya among the ten ruling powers of nature.Since tara devi was the adhishtatri of Lord buddha,she is an important devi among buddhists.However,viewing tara devi as relevant to buddhism alone is completely wrong.

Tara devi is very important in our Hinduism also.When lord shiva drank the halahal poison from samudra manthan,it reached his neck and made it blue in colour. He became known as neelakanta.

Tara devi came running to prevent any problem to lord Shiva  and she prevented poison from going further down into his body,thus protecting Shiva.Thus She became well-liked by Bhagwan Shiva.So Maa tara devi is equally important in hinduism and buddhism.Tara devi is the goddess who gives gold daily to her sadhak and she as neel saraswati provides complete wisdom to her sadhak.

DURGA DEVI - VISHNU MAAYA

In the Devi bhagavatam,when Lord Vishnu was sleeping on the ocean ekarnava,demons madhu and kaitabha comes out from his ear wax.Lord Brahma meditated on Yoga nidra devi, to awaken him from sleep. The goddess became Vishnumaya who defeated and killed those demons, Madhu and Kaitabha.The goddess is a combination of  Kaatyayani Devi and Kaalaratri Devi among Navadurga which are adhishtatri for Sammohan and Samhaar.

Vindhyavasini Durga Devi, the sister of Lord Krishna is Vishnumaya.The Goddess came to Kerala 1500 years ago along with some North Indian Brahmins .Lokanarkavu temple is famous among the Indian martial art, Kalari payat, experts.

The 16 forms of Goddess Durga, each represent one of the sixteen kala, among them is Vishnumaya.

Mantra:

OM KLEEM SHAKTHIM DEHI VISHNUMAAYEI HUM PHAT 

She gives happiness in family life and completeness in bhog and yog.Lord Vishnu rules the world with this maaya shakti.

BUDDHA

Buddha's adhishtatri was Tara devi. In that age,many persons did adharm and vyabhichar in the name of vama tantra.Buddha preached and practised all good ideals in life.Love,dharma,positivity,goodness are all marks of a divine person.

He decided Sanyaas as path to mukthi and left his family one night and went in search of truth.He wandered many places and reached aalagram where he did six years intense tapasya under a vata vriksha.He became weak due to penance.

One night he saw a dream.A dev purush came in his dream with a musical instrument Veena with three strings.First string was very loose.Second was very tight.Third string was tied in right condition.Extreme penance or too much sensual pleasures ,both these are not good in the path for search of truth.A balance has to be kept between both.

Then he went inside a jungle in same village and sat in meditation under another vata vriksha.A women had prayed near that tree for a son.When she returned she saw buddha sitting under the tree.She respectfully offered kheer in front of him.Buddha awakened from samadhi,saw the food offering ,took bath and ate it. Fully satisfied,buddha again sat in meditation and obtained Mahasamadhi.He became Gautam buddha who was siddhartha initially.

Serving others results in rise towards buddhatva which is devoid of sin .One whose brahmacharya is siddh,whether he is naishttik brahmachaari,vaanaprasthi or sanyaasi,nothing remains impossible for him in this world.Buddha was the great avataar before gurudev Shrimali,who appeared 2500 years after buddha.

PANCHA DEV

Human body is made of five elements.
The five gods known as panch dev controls these elements. 

       

       Vishnu - Akash tatva
      Surya - Vayu tatva

      Shakti - Agni tatva

     Shiva - Pritvi tatva
     Ganesh - Jal tatva                                            

Vishnu is sarva vyapth,Shiva is kalyankaari
Ganesh is Eesha of all ganas,Surya is sarvagat
Shakti has Saamarthya

Hence panch dev sadhana is complete sadhana.
