HINDU ALCHEMY

Alchemy is in fact a process of transforming one metal into another.It is an accepted fact of science that if a special force is induced into an atom and somehow the number of protons and electrons are increased or decreased,then one element can be transformed into another,or a cheap metal can be,transformed into a valuable metal

For example there are 80 protons in the atom of mercury and 79 protons in the atom of Gold.Hence ,it means that if by some method one proton is removed from the atom of mercury then it will become an atom of gold.

Similarly there are 82 protons in the atom of lead and 79 protons in the atom of gold.If by some method three protons are removed from the atom of lead then it will change into an atom of gold.

One should note that mercury has 80 protons and it is very near to the gold atom in electronic configuration,because the latter has 79 protons. Similarly,lead atom has 82 protons.Hence,these two metals can be used to prepare gold easily.

"Cyclotron" is one such device which is used to separate atoms or to induce vibrations into them.If a high speed is given then a very fast motion is induced into the atoms

• In the book "Rasopanishad" a process which the writer calls as 'Lakshmipati Kriya' has been explained and it has been said that this process is helpful in preparing gold and through it the poverty of the whole life can be vaquished. Take purified copper and Samskarised mercury,mix them and powder them.Then triturate this mixture in the juice of Bijoura for seven days.Then boil in water to clean properly.Then by triturating it in lemon juice gold is obtained. This process is called Lakshmipati Kriya and through it poverty is removed from one's life.

• Powder pure copper and triturate it properly with juice of Tulsi for three hours.Then add equal quantities of Bubhukshit Paarad. Then cook for four hours adding some water mixed with Suhaga.Thus Paarad gets converted into gold.

• Take tenth part churna of Peepali,equal quantity of sea salt and half this quantity Nag Bhasm. Mix them and cook in water.After cooking triturate for six hours in lemon juice.Pure gold is obtained

• Take tenth part Sulphur,equal quantities of Sendha Namak,Mansil and Paarad and triturate them with blue vitriol.When it has been triturated properly,pour juice of Bijoura over it.Paarad converts into Gold

Please note that initially mercury may be poisnous and care should be taken while doing alchemy like covering the head with cloth ,using goggles etc
