Ayurveda is the science of life and longevity.Modern medicine just suppresses the symptoms of diseases. Our ancient Ayurveda cures the real disease.For this the treatment should be based on individual nature .First individual nature should be understood.There are three doshaas as per Ayurveda.
Universe is made of five elements
Vayu,Agni,Jal,Prithvi and Akasha
Vaata is made of vayu and akasha elements
Pitha is agni and jal
and Kapha is prithvi and jal
Any diseases from feet till hip is due to vata dosha .This includes arm joint pain.Any disease from hip till chest is due to pitha imbalance.Any disease from chest till head is due to kapha imbalance
Accordingly medicine is decided for the patient and food patterns are advised .Thus the disease gets cured from its very roots ,unlike modern medicine which just suppresses the symptoms.

In every person one among them dominates and accordingly the person is having that particular dosha in him.Balance of these three results in perfect health.Our ancient Shaastras says Aham brahmasmi.So I am same as this universe .Or I am a miniature form of this universe
