When Lord Vishnu cut Sati's lifeless body into 108 pieces,then 52 body parts fell onto the earth and rest 56 parts fell on other planets.Out of which the "Blessing Hand" of Goddess Sati fell on Venus or Shukra.Goddess Lakshmi is considered to be ruling the planet of Shukra hence also known as Goddess of Venus.
Only two powers in this world can fulfill all the desires,one is the Mother Goddess and the other one is Guru Himself.There are temples called 52 Shaktipeethas in India,where the body parts of Mother Goddess fell on earth.
