Indra and Virochana went to Prajaapati to gain wisdom.Virochana after the learning,defined that body is everything; this resulted in body-worship,soul and mind were ignored by Virochana and his people.
This attitude resulted in enjoying more and more material pleasures.They became selfish and started indulging in activities for more and more bhog.Bhog results in Rog of body and mind.Person becomes negative in attitude and evil is born among them.
Indra,the King of gods,on the other hand was not satisfied with this initial understanding.So he again and again visited Prajapati and finally understood about soul which has the ultimate element in it.
Thus Body centric materialistic culture,it is said,was originated from Virochana.Gods on other hand were positive,spiritual and simple in nature.They enjoys material pleasures as well,attained by doing sadhana and tapasya.
